Thomas Bouchard
Thomas
Bouchard is a Professor
of the University of Minnesota, and the director of
the widely known Minnesota Study of Twins Reared Apart.
His research is focused on estimation and explaining the various
types of environmental and genetic influence on human psychological
and medical/physical characteristics. He is the author of
more than 150 publications, and the winner of Galton (1995)
and Dobzhansky awards (2001). Professor Thomas Bouchard
served as a president of the Behavior Genetics Association
and vice president of the International Society for twin
Studies.
This will be his first participation in
Human Ethology Schools in Russia, and he will speak about
Genetic Influence on Mental Abilities, Personality, Social
Attitudes, Psychological Interests and Psychopathology.
